Five Tips To Know Your Soul Is Evolving

Some folks, perhaps you are one of them, like to know and see that their soul is evolving. You like to know you are maturing as a human being – as a sentient being.

Here are five tips to help you understand that you are:

1. You Are Curious. I believe one is growing when one is still interested in the world and what’s happening in it. I don’t necessarily mean the news as broadcast by the TV news networks, though that may be part of your curiosity.

Nor does your curiosity have to be world-sweep in its coverage. But does finding something new-to-you every day pique your interest? Or, do you seek out new knowledge on an almost daily occurrence?

If so, I believe you are evolving.

2. You Are Becoming More Self-Aware. This can take the form of everything from remembering that you did set the alarm to asking your body how it is doing and listening for the answer.

Are your thoughts what you want them to be? If not, you actively seek to send those thoughts in the direction you want. (Notice, please, I did not say the “correct” direction. That’s for you to determine.)

Yes, as always it is true that we cannot determine what thoughts jump into our minds. But we can control them and change them at will. “At will” may be another way of saying “self-aware.”

3. You Are Judging Less. You are attempting to drop criticism of others, even if that criticism is kept to yourself. Yes, we must all make value judgments to get along well in life.

This thing is more valuable to me than that thing. It is better for me to spend my time with more positive people. Those kinds of judgments.

But are you sending more thoughts of loving kindness and compassion than you are making disparaging remarks within your own mind, including about yourself?

See how much courage it takes to do this even just within yourself. See how much courage it takes to live out compassion in your daily life.

4. You Are Overcoming Your Fears. We all have them, of something or other. Perhaps it is speaking in front of more than one person that you fear. Perhaps you fear you will fail. Or succeed.

How about relationships? Have you achieved all you wish to in relationships? When will you start to overcome this fear?

Fear is overcome by facing it and pushing through the fear to the place you really wish to be. Can you fly? Can you elevator?

Overcoming fears means you are evolving.

5. You Deepen Your Kinship With The Source Of All There Is. This merely takes time and regularity. Costs you nothing, necessarily, in terms of currency. It does take commitment, however.
Have you discovered your core and the love that is there, unconditional, full and completely accepting? When you have and keep that connection rich and well-nourished, your life grows deeper and deeper, as if your life had roots that continually and forever grow deeper and deeper into the nourishing earth.

There you have 5 ways to understand that you are evolving as a human being. Are there more possible ways? Undoubtedly. Begin with these five and feel yourself evolving.

    1. You Are Curious. Keep it so.
    2. You Are Becoming More Self-Aware. Listen to yourself.
    3. You Are Judging Less. Have compassion.
    4. You Are Overcoming Your Fears. Take courage by the hand and walk forward.
    5. You Deepen Your Kinship With The Source Of All There Is. Love greet love.

Commitment and the Meaning of Life and Happiness

Commitment is the key to so much.

You can’t lose weight if you don’t commit yourself to do so.

You will not develop a friendship if you refuse to invest time and effort into it on a regular basis.

A romance will fall short if it not committed to.

You won’t find the meaning of life, which is to be happy, unless you make a guarantee within yourself that you will search until you find what you are looking for.

The Universe is more than prepared to give you what you want, but you have to be the initiator. Absolute and perfect acceptance is waiting for you within the Universe. But the Universe is so benign that It waits for you to begin seeking.

Beginning is good. To continue in commitment is essential to finding anything.

At the beginning of the year, January, I heard a term that was new to me. I was at the gym for Tai Chi class and the parking lot was crowded with many vehicles. The others in the class remarked as to how full the lot was. They said to each other that there were a lot of resolutioners at the gym that night.

At first I couldn’t figure out what “resolutioners” meant. Just as I was asking someone the definition, it dawned on me – these are folks who made New Year’s resolutions to work out.

Implied was the idea that the parking lot would soon be less and less full as the resolutioners broke their resolutions.

The commitment was lacking.

So what do you need to commit to if you are to find some answers? To find the meaning of life and the happiness that comes with it, you need to commit to making and keeping a significant connection, or liaison, between yourself and The Source of All There Is.

This takes time and effort. There is no substitute.

The time commitment is virtually every day for ten to thirty minutes. Of course, you can start small – just ten minutes – and grow your time. You can also start small with the effort.

In a meditative state, start light by simply concentrating on your breathing. Listen to and be conscious of your in and out breaths.

Over time you will want to explore the many types of meditation available to you. Plus the many forms of meditation – to see which is the best for you. These can involve everything from trying to keep a yellow triangle on a white background in mind, to the standing meditation of Qigong.

When you liaise with The Source of All There Is on a regular and consistent footing, you then need to further that commitment by keeping at it for the rest of your life. Meditation is not something you achieve and then never need do again. To maintain the feeling of meaning and happiness, you need to keep at it.

This keeping-at-it will yield for you the meaning of your life. Happiness is the meaning of your life. You are wired to be happy. When you make connection with The Source you power up that circuit.

When you are in contact with The Source, you will discover that you are completely, totally, unconditionally accepted. These words cannot do this concept justice. In that acceptance you will be happy for there is no higher state of being that being completely accepted.

This acceptance is Love. Love that regards you as worthy no matter what. Happiness is personified in your life.

So, make a commitment. Keep a commitment. Starting right now. Commitment works in every area of life. When you do commit, you will find the answers you are searching for in every area of your life.

The Basics of the Meaning of Life and Happiness

What are the basics of the meaning of life and happiness? First, understand that I believe that happiness is the meaning of life. To understand that you then need these three: connect with the Grand Consciousness, change your thoughts thereby, beam your bliss into the world.

Happiness Is the Meaning of Life.

What is the one thing that the vast majority of people in the world look for in life? Happiness. Families are developed, food and shelter is earned, jobs are pursue to feed and shelter families. All this is done so that folks will be happy. They will live their definition of what makes them happy.

The problem can be that these exterior things and events do not make for happiness. Why? They change. They can be taken away. When they change for the worse, unhappiness, defined by the person suffering through the change, results. When a family member dies, especially a son or daughter, heartache is the result.

Most people spend their entire lives chasing happiness. Often running into the brick wall of unhappiness. What’s to be done?

Decide You Are Going to Be Happy.

That’s all there is to this paragraph. Decide you are going to be happy. Then, following the steps below, decide you are happy.

Connect with the Divine Consciousness.

The Divine Consciousness is the only “person” who will not, possibly, bring you unhappiness. This All-Pervasive Spirit is entirely out for your good. It will never make any demands on you. The Supreme Spirit never demands that you worship It. It does not need your worship. It only asks that you let the Supreme Spirit love you.

The God/Universe accepts you and your life just as you are. You connect with this unconditional love and total acceptance through meditation. A way to begin, during meditation, is to see a golden beam of light flooding your spirit. This beam comes to you from the All-Pervasive Spirit. Allow it to bathe your spirit and to help you feel loved and accepted. Over time you will find the deep, deep happiness of being loved and accepted.

Change Your Thoughts.

When you have truly accepted that you are accepted and accepted that you are loved unconditionally, you have the power to change your thoughts. Change them to the positive. Yes, it takes effort. But now you have the power to add to your thought-resume all the positives you can come up with.

Changed thoughts are the key to installing happiness in your life. Yes, you will continue to have negative thoughts. We cannot control what thoughts come into our heads. But we do have control over what thoughts we entertain. Let the negative thoughts go by replacing them with positive ones.

Beam Your Bliss Into The World.

This last basic step is most important. Do not neglect it. When you have found your happiness inside, some name it bliss, you have got to beam that bliss to the outside.

In other words, you have got to practice your happiness in the physical world. You do that through altruism and kindness. Simply do your best to build up everything and everyone you encounter.

As you do this, the happiness and meaning of your world cannot help but increase.
