Sharing the Meaning of Life from "This" Perspective

You Were Born To Beam

You were born to beam. So many folks think and act as if their lives are to be without meaning and without happiness.

Let me make this clear. You are free to choose what your life shall be. I am not trying to tell you that unless you do thus and such, your life is not worthwhile. Never.

This rest of the text follows this video pane:

Whatever life you choose for yourself, it is of significance. The Universe has need of you.

But why not choose more happiness and meaning? Your were born to beam.

By that I mean you have been given a very special place in the Universe. The Cosmos cannot do without you. You may think otherwise, that the Universe can do without you. If you think that way, you are sadly mistaken.

You were born to experience on behalf of the Cosmos, the Mega-Consciousness. The Conscious Cosmos is One. As One it cannot experience for experience is always in relationship to something else. Hot and cold. Light and night. Sharp and dull.

You can and do experience all those dualities. From your experiencings your feed the knowledge base of the Conscious Cosmos.

You come to know you are of value to the Universe through the meditative arts. It is also in meditation that you find your meaning in life, which is to be happy. From meaning, happiness and purpose your life expands in such a way that it seems as if you actually beam your happiness into the substantive world.

Thus, by my logic, you were born to beam. How much you beam is up to you. Make no mistake, though – you beam to some degree in any case. How about choosing to beam better? That is, why not decide to be as happy as you possibly can be?

How does beaming affect your happiness? Simple. The more you beam, the more you reinforce your happiness. Happiness does not come from beaming, but beaming demonstrates happiness.

This is not demonstration to prove to others that you are happy and have meaning and purpose. You never need prove that you are happy to others. This is a demonstration for yourself.

It energizes your happiness. It puts your happiness into the world. When you have found purpose, meaning and happiness, it seems that they spill over into your corporal life.

How do you beam? By sharing your happiness with others. What does your friend need that you can supply? What does your neighbor require that you can help fulfill? What does the world want that you can supply?

Do you see? Beam as you were born to and you will increase your own happiness. The greater the beaming, the greater the actualizing of your life.

There is where your life is going – to actualization. If taken literally, you are making yourself actual. What does it mean to be actual?

It means you can understand yourself as real. That your life, words, actions, count for something. They do even if you do not set out to beam. Your life counts.

But how would you like to witness that it does? Of course you would. You witness your life as reckoning import by beaming your happiness into the world. You do that by serving others from the foundation of your life’s meaning and purpose.

Begin better beaming today.

Death – Unending Life and Happiness

It has been said that death can undo and destroy the meaning of life. I am here, now, to dispute that claim. I say that death can destroy the meaning of life, which is to be happy, only if you let it.

First, let us look at death. I know it is an unpleasant subject. But unless you look death in the eye and deny its power over you, it will destroy meaning and happiness.

The remainder of the text for this post are immediately following this video pane:

Persons have been investigating Near Death Experiences (NDE) for many decades. This is the phenomenon that happens when a person dies clinically, yet experiences something positive and then is revived and can report the experience to others.

Folks who experience this generally see themselves as moving through a tunnel. At the other end of this tunnel they meet a being of light. This being shows them their entire lives. But the being of light adds no judgments or evaluations of one’s life.

Indeed, it seems the being of light is filled with compassion and love for the person undergoing this event. Unconditional love is displayed for the person in a NDE.

Often the person in a NDE sees relatives or friends who have gone before. Each recognizes the other.

Sometimes the person is given an opportunity to choose to stay where they are, in the afterlife, or to come back to this plane of existence and live out their days. Those who choose to come back here, never fear death again. They even look forward with pleasant anticipation to their death in the course of the natural way.

Second, there is the regression of souls. This is when someone remembers something of their former life, perhaps in another time and place. This happens most often, it seems, with children, those who are close to the time of reincarnation.

These children, though many adults can be counted in this number, remember things about past lives that they could not possibly know through this present life. They are too young to do any kind of research. Their parents declare they have never taught these children anything about someone else’s past lives. Investigators thoroughly look into each case of regression.

Third, ancient wisdom of many types and from several cultures, emphasizes unending life. It is declared that the Buddha could look back over 100,000 lives when he came to enlightenment. The Tibetan Book of the Dead also describes unending life. Other religions like Christianity say there is life after death as well.

My point is that when you look for such ideas, you will find a superior abundance of them. Literally source after source, both ancient and modern, have shown there to be unending life. It has been demonstrated in Near Death Experiences and the regression of souls.

So, death cannot undo meaning and happiness, unless you let it. If viewed from a particular angle, death can only reinforce meaning and happiness. How so?

I believe the meaning of life is to be happy. You find that happiness and meaning by forging a spiritual link between yourself and the Cosmic Consciousness that many folks will name God. In and through that connection you will see that you are unconditionally valued just as you are.

When you know yourself to be unconditionally loved just as you are, you have found the happiness that passes all understanding. That is the meaning of your life. From that meaning comes your purpose in life – to experience. By living, breathing, running, jumping, learning, growing, loving, seeing, and all other ways of experiencing, you are fulfilling your purpose.

Because there is life after death, that purpose never ends. You go on experiencing forever. Which brings you right back to happiness as you are fulfilling your purpose which you learned about via the connection you have with the Cosmic Consciousness. All this adds up to the meaning of your life. Death cannot destroy that because there is no such thing as death.

Live today and do not concern yourself with tomorrow. Life never ends. Meaning never quits. Happiness can be forever.

Part of You Is Always At Peace When you Know the Meaning of Life Which Is To Be Happy

Wish you had perpetual peace? Wish you had peace so that nothing could disturb you? We all wish for that. It is available for the asking.

As you search for the meaning of life, soon or late, you will come to understand that the meaning of life is to be happy. You tap into that happiness and meaning by finding a pipe line directly to the Divine Consciousness through meditation.

The rest of the text for this post is immediately following this video pane:

Sitting quietly and comfortably, you let your mind still. When you are first beginning meditation, this stilling of the mind will take some time and patience. Everyone starts out with the monkey-mind.

That is, we are so used to having our minds active, that it seems that they jump around and cavort as if they were energized monkeys. Your mind will flit from one thought to the next.

Do not be dismayed. Everyone begins this way. Given time and practice your mind will calm down. One way to help with that is to be aware of your breathing. Listen as you inhale and exhale. Breathe slowly and deeply.

As you breathe you can begin to imagine a golden light coming out of the Universe and alighting upon your spirit. This is Divine Light and brings you peace when you allow it to be so. This peace then comes to reside in your spirit.

In your spirit, in that Divine Place that you have in you, no one can take that peace from you unless you allow it. That place in you can always be at peace.

When the world is in turmoil, when your life is in perpetual-motion-commotion, you can literally retire to that Place of Peace within you. You can wrap it around you like a blanket until you regain your composure.

Stop and think with me a moment. Wouldn’t you like to have a Place Within where you cannot be disturbed? When you have made a definite connection with the Divine Consciousness, you have that calm and tranquility abiding always.

Make no mistake. It was always there. You just didn’t know. It is built into you as a human being. You need not earn it; you cannot lose it. You find it, discover it, through meditation. Calm begets calm. Peace begets peace.

When you go looking for peace you will pass through the meaning of life which is to be happy. You are looking for calm. At the center of the Divine Consciousness is the Grand Calm. Often it is named “the peace that passes all understanding.”

That means that as you are meditating on peace, you will discover the meaning of life – happiness. Happiness resides in the Divine Consciousness. It is your bliss. But it cannot be your bliss unless you can possess it in serenity.

You already have this serenity within. It is only a matter of finding it within your own happiness. Happiness is the opposite of disruption and sorrow, chaos and despair. Happiness is peace.
