The meaning of life has to do with being happy. Being happy, on the outside, often entails being loved. People confuse deserving love with deserving love from a specific person. I’ve got to clear this up. As you know, I watch the Twitter stream. At least once a day there is someone who is saying, “I don’t deserve your love.” Or, even more poignantly, “I don’t deserve to be loved.”
There is a difference between deserving love as a fundamental idea within the human species and deserving love from someone you want to love you.
The easier one to explain is feeling like you don’t deserve love from someone specific. Suppose you have been in a relationship with someone. Or you wish you were in a relationship with someone, it just has gotten far yet. Then you screw up in some way. You put the other person down. You flirt openly within a third party. You forget an important date or occasion. You drunkenly make of a fool of yourself. Bottom line? Your do not treat well the person from whom you wish love. In that case, you do not deserve love from that person. Who, in their own right mind, would love someone who treats them badly? No one. So, in this case, you may well say, “I don’t deserve your love.”
I can’t get you out of that one. Only you can turn the tide by treating the other person much, much better.
I can help you with the other: “I don’t deserve to be loved.” Yes, you do. Simply because you exist, you are loved by the Omnipresent Intelligent Harmony. This Harmony has caused your vibrations to settle into a frequency that can be seen and experienced by others and yourself. Therefore, even as 3 + 3 = 6, you are loved. You would not be if The Harmony had not “thought” you up. You have a special place with this Harmony because you were deliberately “made.”
Even if you don’t know who your biological father is, even if you don’t know who your biological mother is, you are loved by The Harmony. I know it is hard to understand. But Harmony does not create discord. You are wanted and loved by The Harmony, no matter your birth, because The Harmony would not do anything that would deliberately bring discord to Itself.
You simply cannot say, as if it were truth, that you don’t deserve to be loved. Because in the simplest terms possible, merely because you exist, you are loved. Harmony resonates with harmony. You find the meaning of life, to be happy, when you accept the Harmony in your life. Harmony is just another way of expressing the idea of love.
How does this Harmony treat you? With the utmost respect and care. The Omnipresent Intelligent Harmony cares that you experience the best life has to offer. It does that by loving you, first and foremost.
From this care you may see how it is possible to win the love of another. However, you must keep in mind the other person may not want to love you for any number of reasons. Some of those reasons will have something to do with you, some may not. The other person is always free to say “No” to your love. If you stalk the other person in any way to try to win their love, you are violating them and taking away their freedom. Which is very unloving.
To win another person’s love, you must treat them as well as is possible for a healthy relationship. Their own choice and freedom are highest in that treatment. If another person accepts your attentions and comes to love you for how you treat them, which comes from your own happiness, then love is well won.
