Congratulations! You have found meaning in life, which is to be happy. Now what do you do?

Congratulations! You have found meaning in life, which is to be happy. Now what do you do?

Here are five questions and five answers to this dilemma.

1. Question: How do I know that I have meaning and happiness?

The rest of the text for this post is right after this video pane:

Answer: When you feel yourself as completely accepted and loved by the Universe. You are unconditionally accepted. No matter what you do or do not do, you are consented to. There is no greater happiness than knowing you are totally, entirely accepted.

You know also that everyone else can find meaning in life and happiness. Because you have experienced it yourself, you know that others can have the same. When you start sharing what you have discovered with others, and they discover it for themselves, you reinforce your own meaning and happiness.

The pleasant circle continues – round and round.

2. Question: What do I really want?

Answer: Something meaningful to do. You are the one who determines what you are to do. No one, not even God, dictates what you will do with your life. Or what you want to do with your life. You work it out for yourself. You feel fulfilled.

Meaning is the motivation of every life. Those who feel they have no meaning are far less motivated than those who feel they have meaning. You do have meaning, meaning as consequential or as inconsequential as you make it.

I believe everyone can find something meaningful to do. Just look.

3. Question: What is the purpose of your life?

Answer: Experience. You want your life to have some genuine purpose. You find that purpose by experiencing everything positive that you possibly can. As you do this you are working on behave of The Universe. You pick out one or more special areas where can really put in the time and effort and feel the rewards.

What will you experience when you know that you have permission to experience? Nothing is holding you back. Except yourself. You now know the purpose of your life. Let life unfold before you as you experience every new minute as a fulfillment of your purpose.

4. Question: What will happen when I understand all of this?

Answer: You feel gratified. You luxuriate in your own life. This is beyond contentedness. Sort of like contentedness with the “BAM” of exhilaration. There is something to propel you out of bed in the morning.

Motivation is self-generated. You cannot wait for someone outside yourself to “make” you get out of bed in the morning. That only works for a short period until you begin to resent the other for making you get out of bed.

You need to be self-motivated through gratification. The luxury you feel in your life through gratification will be a motivating factor.

5. Question: Is it going to take me where I want to go?

Answer: Only you can know where you want to go. But wherever it is that you want to go, meaning, happiness and purpose, will see you there in style. In other words, you determine where you want to go and these three musketeers, meaning, happiness and purpose, will help you get where you are going.

Please do not be one of those folks who let others decide for them. Do not get me wrong. Sometimes we need others to direct us for a time, like we may need police officers or firefighters to help when burglary or house fire strike us.

But so many people allow themselves to fall into making government, for example, the bad guy when it comes to wanting an excuse for their own behavior. “I can’t do this because the politicians won’t let me.” Really?

Be your own boss. Make your own decisions about your own life. Don’t look for excuses – look for reasons why you can get ahead. Make your own life; you have that power. You will get where you want to go, when you decide that direction and decide you will accomplish your goal.

There you have five ideas to help you know what to do with your happiness and the meaning of life. Exercise those five beginning in this minute and continuing for the rest of your life.

When you go looking for happiness, which I believe is the meaning of life, if you think you are separate, you will have a more difficult time finding meaning and happiness.

Even language foments against our feeling as one. Because we often feel less than one, we miss some meaning and happiness.

When a language has a subject and a verb and a object, as in sentence construction, we tend to feel as if all of those three parts are separate entities.

For example, take this sentence: The cat ran up the tree.

The remainder of the text for this post is immediately following this video pane:

Obviously the cat is the subject. “Ran up” is the verb. The tree is the object. Makes a perfectly good sentence.

But each of these: cat, ran up and tree, appear to be separate from the other.

We think separate. When we think separate, we cut ourselves off, to a greater or lesser degree, from the One. It is in the One that we have our being, our wholeness.

When you go looking for happiness, which I believe is the meaning of life, if you think you are separate, you will have a more difficult time finding meaning and happiness.

We are One. When you make attachment between yourself and The All There Is, you will find the meaning of your life, which is to be happy. You make that connection through the meditative arts.

(Let’s invent a new word: Using the first letters of The All That Is, plus the last letter of the word Is, we can contrive the word TATHIS. I shall use this word TATHIS as representing The All There Is throughout this article. We will pronounce this word as follows: Ta – this, as in plate and this. For me, the word TATHIS has no baggage whatsoever and can be used in a neutral way to signify the Divine or Sacred.)

When you experience yourself as eternally connected together with TATHIS, you find happiness and meaning because you are in complete harmony or resonance with TATHIS.

You find yourself happy because you are unconditionally accepted by TATHIS. You know there is nothing you need do or not do to be accepted.

When you know there is nothing you need do or not do, you understand that you are One with TATHIS.

However, to say you are one with TATHIS is a bit of a misnomer. To use the idea of “with” means, in my mind, that there was originally the two and now they are united into one.

For me, we are never separated, we just thought we were. However, language is here a barrier too. It is a roadblock because we have little to help us use language to understand how we have always been One. We are just now rediscovering that we always have been one, when we rediscover happiness in the unconditional acceptance of TATHIS.

We become aware of an alliance. Though I still have the problem of understanding alliance as made up of more than one entity, we, all the entities together, are One, never having really been separate. Just deluding themselves into a feeling of separation.

To bring us back to earth, you need to understand that you were never, ever separate from TATHIS. When you understand your connectedness with TATHIS, it is as if you have come home.

Feeling as though you have come home is another way of defining happiness. You are secure in your abode.

There you have it. Shedding the delusion that you are separate will help you find happiness and meaning. Even though language sometimes works against your finding the Oneness of which you are a portion, you can understand yourself as in everlasting, complete, and unconditional harmony in the One.
Begin right now to claim your place as a share of the One.

This has been Dr. Bob 4 U, and I invite you to change your life for the better by claiming your Free Instant Access to a Force-Source-Resource including a monthly newsletter titled The Force-Source-Resource Newsletter. Just Click Here. Remember, one bit of information can give you a lifetime of satisfaction.

Where do you fit in? That is a question that many folks ask themselves. Here is an answer: you fit in because you are needed by the universe.

In the meaning of life, as I define it, to be happy, there is the place where you fit into life. Not knowing this is sad. In such a mood as that Gerry came through the door of my office. Shoulders drooping, countenance ashen, she eased herself into the chair as if she were positive that if she moved “wrong” she would cause herself great pain.

The complete text of this blog continues after the YouTube pane.

httpvh://www.youtube.com/watch?v=16tn72bAi4Y

I asked her how she was doing. “That’s just it, Dr. Bob. I just came from a weekend with my in-laws and I feel ridiculous. Where do I fit in?” She told me of how they, the in-laws, seemed to exclude her. How, at first, it seemed like her imagination. But no, as the weekend wore on, she realized they were deliberately being rude and belittling. She said she tried to understand why this was happening. Gerry said she always had problems with feeling like she did not fit. At first thought it was her own emotional tone that made her feel as she had that weekend. However, the more aware she became of her own feelings, the more she realized it was not all her.

Here was an authentic life challenge for Gerry for two reasons. One, she understood that because of her own feelings, actions and words by others could set off her own negative opinions of herself. Two, actions and words by others can be designed by them to maneuver a person in the direction of being an outcast. Both are real challenges, one coming from a person’s interior life and the other from exterior life.

What to do? How to help Gerry see that she fit no matter what was happening outside herself? And quickly done too. She appeared desperate.

“Gerry, do you understand the idea of ‘Universe’? That there is the whole, the entirety of creation?”

She allowed that she thought so. I asked if she believed she was a part of this whole.

“Well, yes, if I am in the Universe, then I must be part of it. What’s the point, Dr. Bob?”

“The point is that if you are part of this entirety we name the Universe, if you were missing from it, would it be the same?”

“Of course not,” she replied. I avow to you that at that precise moment, as she finished her reply, the color began to return to her face. She then made the intuitive leap. “I am part of the Universe, so … I fit no matter what.”

Here is where I needed to let her be in her thoughts and not interject more than was necessary. Sometimes doing that, interjecting more information than is needed, just gums up the works.

With a smile, Gerry said, “I never thought of it that way. Is it that simple? Yes, it is. And no one can ever take my place.” Her physical expression going out of the office was the complete opposite, I would say, of her way of moving when she first came in.

You must to understand that your life is a needed and integral part of the Universe in which you live. Your place can only be taken by you. No one can replace you or what you represent to the Universe. You often cannot easily see this. But it is there and part of the meaning of life. In that meaning, obviously, when you feel you fit, you will know happiness.
