Sharing the Meaning of Life from "This" Perspective

Key Life Phrase Six – I Am a Well-Being Warrior – And What That Has to Do with the Meaning of Life

I am a well-being warriorA key life phrase that will make you over: I am a well-being warrior.

Coach potatoes only grow soft and sometimes even develop a little fuzzy mold from their extremities. (Some folks who read this may be confined to a chair or bed. You are most assuredly excluded from the coach potato idea. But you can still be a well-being warrior.)

Of course there are three areas of life and living that constitute well-being: physical, mental and spiritual. Get off your couch even if you do not like exercise. DO SOMETHING.
Get off your mental couch. READ SOMETHING OR WATCH EDUCATIONAL TV. Get of your Spiritual couch. LEARN TO PRAY OR MEDITATE OR CONCENTRATE.

I cannot tell you how much better you will feel in each of these departments once you are and doing something. If you are able and you do any kind of physical activity suited to your present physical condition, your blood will sing through your arteries and veins. The “blood song” is thrilling to experience.

I cannot tell you how much better you will feel about yourself when you begin to read or watch educational TV. You’ll be GROWING YOUR MIND. An awesome reward in itself.

I cannot tell you how much better your will feel when you make connection with the Source of All That Is. There are at least these three ways of doing so: prayer, meditation and practicing concentration. When you do one of these YOU’LL BE ON YOUR WAY TO COMPLETION as a human being. OMG! That’s awesome, dude.

Let just take concentration as an example. You know you need more concentration to get done the things you really want to. But the world, the home, the workplace is so full of distractions. Well, you can actually train your concentration to be better. Close your eyes. Get the picture of a single digit number, like 3, in your mind. Try to hold that image in your mind, to the exclusion of everything else for 2 to 3 minutes. At first you probably won’t be able to do it. That’s natural. But keep trying. Soon you will develop more ability. Then try a different object held in mind for 2 to 3 minutes.

What does all this have to do with the meaning of life? The meaning of life is to be happy. You contact your happiness within. Concentration will help you do that. When you make and keep contact with the Source, you will feel happier, I promise. But then part of expressing that happiness in your life is to develop yourself mentally and physically. Do you see? A pleasant, good cycle (as opposed to vicious cycle) will be revolving in your life. Spiritual tailing the physical, tailing the mental, tailing the spiritual, and so on .

Begin now. Don’t put yourself off the couch tomorrow what you can do today. Say it to yourself until it sinks in and becomes numbered among your atoms: I am a well-being-warrior.

Life Phrase Five – Distinguish Yourself – As You Act in the World

eye distinguish yourself 625 x 100

One of my granddaughters has developed a unique self-style. Believe it or not, she even twice pierced her own lower lip. (I do not recommend this.) She wears heavy black makeup around her eyes in what she names as the “Emo” fashion. (A check on the Internet gives a number of websites dedicated to Emo.) She wears her hair in the sharp contrast of Emo as well.

My point is that everyone wants to be distinctive. She gets looks from most other people when she is at school or out at a restaurant with her grandparents. She comments that people are looking and that sometimes she likes that and sometimes she doesn’t like it. We say, as kindly as possible, “If you are going to dress like that, you’re going to get looks.”

But being distinctive is as old as humankind. What differentiates you from others? Are we unique unto ourselves or do you wholly conform to the group? So there have been tattoos, body piercings, headdress styles, clothing styles, the wearing of jewelry that comes in great variety from shells to diamonds, all through the recorded history of humankind. That one may stand out from the others.

Such differences among people have been lauded and worshiped or vilified and assassinated. Or something in between. We are want to be different enough to be ourselves. We all know, however, that physical appearance is no real indication of distinctiveness. We all realize, instinctively, that what we are comes from who we are on the inside. What we are on the inside makes us what we are on the outside.

“From being stirs doing.”

A key life phrase, then, is “Distinguish yourself.” Be who your are, for sure. But the sureness comes from inside. Someone starts a fashion and others follow, even if in their own individual ways. Let your outward expression be a refraction of your inward being. This is the only way to be true to yourself in the short and long term.

Refraction is defined as how light, sound, heat, or the like, passes through one medium into another. To make your unique contribution to the world, to distinguish yourself from all others, you must let the light of the Divine Consciousness pass through you and be seen in the substantial world. But to do that you need to know who you are on the inside. You do that through meditation and encountering who you really are in connection to the Divine Consciousness. Let me assure you that as the Light passes through your, others will see your uniqueness. Let me also assure that the Divine Consciousness does not dictate to you what the refraction will look like. You are totally free to be.

So, distinguish yourself. Be who you are singularly. Begin by finding out who you are inwardly. Then let the refraction of Divine Consciousness come through you and paint pictures of your individuality on the canvas of the world.

And I invite you pick up more info about your uniqueness. I ask to you sign up for Free Instant Access to some of my Force-Source-Resources. Life Phrase Four – I Take Responsibility for Where My Occupation Is Taking Me and What This Has to Do with the Meaning of Life

take responsibilityI learned early on in my Life Coaching career that I was responsible for the direction my career was taking. Indeed, when I intentionally or inadvertently left it in the hands of others, my path was not likeable.

I thought that the Divine Consciousness that powers the Universe would take care of everything. I just had to be faithful to that Consciousness. That’s what I was taught from an early age. That’s what I believed well into my twenties.  But beginning in my late twenties, I began to sense that this was not the case. Something was missing. My career path went in directions that were not to my liking. Later, much later in life, I would discover that this was NOT the fault of the Divine Consciousness. The Universe being essentially neutral in its response to me, lead me in paths that I gave off vibrations about. The blame was with me for sending the wrong signals.

But for so long, I just “kept the faith” and let things go where they would. Not a good idea. I needed to take responsibility. I came to believe that I am responsible for my own happiness, the meaning of life. Therefore, I was responsible for what my career was doing too. Let me help you from my experience. You need to say and this: I take responsibility for where my occupation is taking me.

Some will want to say to me,”"This is so simple, everyone knows it. Why even bother to make it an important life phrase?” I agree, it is simple. But I do not see many people taking it seriously. I’d guess that at least 2 out of every 3 people know this, but do not do this.

That’s why I want you, for your own sake, for your good, to take this life phrase to heart and beginning saying it and using it right today. When was the last time you made plans for where you want to be in your occupation next year? How about in 5 years? Have you made strategies to get you there? What education, for example, do you need to get where you want to be in 5 years?

I take responsibility.

Please do not put blind trust in your present education. Please do not place blind trust in the company that you work for now. Please do not put your entire trust in the market place if you are self-employed.

Take responsibility for yourself. Few if any will, in the end, take responsibility besides yourself.

I needed to do that. When I knew it was time, for example, to make a change from one location to some other, I let the “system work.” As I was told it would. It did not, because my superiors really did not understand the needs of their own organization at the time. Because they could not see the internal needs, they missed matching me into a new location. It felt like benign neglect. Don’t let this happen to you.

Just as the meaning of life to be happy, and you need to take responsibility for your own happiness, so you need to take responsibility for your own occupation. For you are supposed to project your own happiness into what you do. You can’t do that unless you take responsibility there too. Take your responsibility by keeping this life phrase in mind: I Take Responsibility for Where My Occupation Is Taking Me.
